Cleaned the bathroom after an apparent game of chicken - wrote on the board asking other people to clean stuff. Shower got cleaned but nothing else had yet, was driving me crazy, so did it

I was so irritated with stuff not getting done and at me for turning into the "nag" that I just asked if a chore list would be better. The guys said yes, so I have a weekly schedule on the fridge.

Now, I should say that they slack off on everything but dinner (because otherwise they don't eat either). But it is much easier to say "Hey, litter boxes have not been scooped, who is on boxes?" It is kind of like the list tattles on them other than me. Otherwise they will claim "Well I scooped -last- time" or something like that.

Andy does the same thing at his house, you should ask him what his experience is like.

Initially I wanted to do a chore list but the response was generally "We won't remember - just tell us when stuff needs to be done."

Not going to do that again.

Mark knows he's supposed to clean the cat litter and doesn't until it's 3 weeks liquified and I've been nagging him for a month.
