But you forget Sarah Kane's distinction. Her death has been a shame, furthermore, a SHAM to the independence of her work. She has sugar-coated her truths by allowing the swing of the matter to consume her once and for all, an artist sacrificing herself to be consumed by the source that pumps out her art. But now, she is seen as the artist that sacrifices for her art. The connection is lost, she is written out of her genuine words by her actions
