So, as a retro gamer interested in programming, I wanted to experiment with a text-based adventure game. And what better way to do that than with a interactive fanfic? I agree, there isn't one. So if you want to give it a try, then I've put the download link below. It's 100% virus free and the installation is pretty much done in two clicks

I've downloaded it a few times, but when I click 'open file' or 'run', it won't play. And I've searched my computer files, but it isn't there, despite my having downloaded in multiple times. Help, please? xx

That's strange.
Are you certain it's not in your downloads folder? (I'm assuming you're using Windows.)

Yeah I'm using Windows 7 I think. And I did check in my downloads file but all that was there was IMVU and a few piano scores. My security firewall/virus scanner says the file is not a threat initially, but once I go to open the file it says it is a threat and has been removed. Any suggestions on what to do? Otherwise I will try downloading it another computer. I really want to play it! Aha :P

I'm not sure - the file's definitely not dangerous at all.
You could always turn your firewall off for the two minutes it takes to download and install then put it back on, but you might not want to risk it.
