It's good to know you've already finished this fic even if it's sad that there're only five chapters left. Btw, this was another good chapter and I was waiting for House to admit he's attracted by Chase. I mean, it wouldn't been past House to get involved with Chase just for the sake of his curiosity ;)

House just doing it to solve the puzzle would have been awesome, but I couldn't quite to that to Chase. I need to write something that's not as nice and "fluffy" as this one...

Chase'll be devastated and I think I'd hate House in that case: solving a puzzle isn't worth the pain inflicted to another person especially if said person has feelings for you. And I love nice and fluffy (not sappy and buttery) when House and Chase are involved :) You know, in a lot of slash fics House is cruel and sadist toward Chase but after seeing the way he acts with Stacy and with Cuddy (the last two episodes of the 5 season) I think he can't be intentionally cruel with the one he loves. And I think you need to write more House/Chase fics ^__^

I always think there has to be a real reason behind the things he does. And if he's being cruel, I'd guess in his mind it really does work like that's the logical response to something. But it's pretty hard to walk on that fine line between him being "mean", because it makes sense and it's what he does, and him being not much himself in a fanfic, which is currently my big problem with writing the last two pages of this fic ^^
Oh and I'm planning on writing more House/Chase fics =)
