His Thoughts
Protect them, his thoughts echoed in his mind. He knew this moment had to come sometime for him. But yet, oddly enough, he was okay with it. It was the way of life for Nobodies like him. He didn’t have any real emotions towards death - as a Nobody, there were no emotions to be had.
When he told Sora and the others to go to the portal, he knew he was already weak from the many fights before. But when the inevitable happened, Sora was surprised. He was saddened.
“We’ll meet again one day”, Axel wanted to say but he knew it was just an empty promise.
Protect them, the only thought that rang in his head as he faded away.
