I also think Obama had a HUGE point when he pointed out that "erasing state lines" with regards to insurance would mean that the vast majority of health insurance companies would re-incorporate in states with looser laws on health insurance, just like credit card companies did.

Did you know that in Illinois, any annual interest rate over 9% is considered usury and illegal? How many people have ever even seen a credit card with permanent single-digit interest rates?

I was totally stuck by that comment too, and it was something I hadn't even thought of. Though there was a part of me thinking, "You do realise your running mate's from Delaware, right?"
