Well I'm officially moved into my [first!] new house. It feels so strange not to be renting from anyone...I feel like a grown up, but want to run around squee-ing about all the extra space there is
( Read more... )
I love your house...I am still comtemplating stealing it, just so I can have a lovely house.
Having too many books is not necessarily a bad thing, in and of itself (although I agree that storage can be a real pain). There are definitely worse things to have too many of.
Hopefully we will be able to come and see your new house in all of its unpacked glory in the very near future.
The progress on building my own house briefly took a step backwards and is currently hovering barely above non-existant at the moment. My hopes of moving in January are completely gone now (though I guess that gives me extra time to weed out all my excess stuff! *G* Anyway, it sounds awesome, and I'm in awe of your massive stash of books!
And tell your husband to get moving on the installation of Word! The world could definitely do with more yummy elf stories! Especially since fall is so pretty, and it's getting colder and more damp and there will soon be snow, and we both know that makes for lots of fun fic situations! ;-)
I wish we'd weeded out more before we actually moved *g* I'm a notorious pack rat though [No doubt illustrated by the huge box of New Kids on the Block paraphernalia we found last week].
I agree. Elf stories are desperately needed...I have started one [in lieu of finishing my others :)] where the opening has both Gimli and Legolas sitting under a tree while the leaves fall around them. I'm not too sure where its going but I hope to have it at least shareable shortly...assuming the husband finishes all our computer installations...
Oooh, fic opening sounds lovely! Feel free to send any snippets my way...any at all...I'm desperate for Elf! (And yes, I'm reduced to begging! *G
( ... )
Begging is never a problem where our favorite blond elf is concerned. *g*
Okay...it only took a week longer than I expected but I finally have Word!
I was wondering if maybe you'd consider helping me out with some of my [many] fic bits...maybe between the two of us we could finish them off? I feel like instead of finishing I just keep starting more...and I know you have plenty of nummy elf ideas :) Plus, if I'm working with you maybe I'll be less inclined to slack off...
