So, like...3 months ago, one of my friends met a girl, and not even two weeks later, proposed to her. Of course, everybody thought that this was nuts, but since she was having a positive effect on him, and since they were waiting a few months before the wedding, we settled into a sort of acceptance. Of course, there were a few people still iffy
