I hate it when self-publishers do this - why a trade publisher would agree - yeah, not right. If it wasn't ready, why was it published to begin with? And of course the author would say it's worth re-purchasing - DOH!

The publisher is Samhain, so they're real, but it is annoying. I will, of course, get sucked into buying the sequel again, mainly in hopes that it will be improved. The sequel is nowhere near as good as the first one.

Aw, sucky! I confess to having re-uploaded stuff before, but only when someone catches a sly little typo that I and my spellchecker both missed. I certainly don't revise stuff once I've put it up for sale! And you're right about the title. "Notturno" sounds worthy of reading. "Deep Desire" sounds like it belongs in the Badfic Archive. *sigh*

Exactly! It's still one of my top M/M novels, and I recommend the author. I've read a number of her works now, and have seldom been disappointed.
