Information on Changers.

Q: Who are the Changers?
Blaire, Rue, Trace, Lenny, Casey, Kim, Z, Alex, Noel, Fel, Dani, and Yori.

Some of their legal names vary depending on their sex. Trace's legal names are Trevor and Tracy. Z's are Zo and Zoe. Fel's are Felix and Felicity.

Q: What is an "episode"?
Episode is the term used to describe when one of the characters switches sexes and/or ages. The aging goes in intervals of five years (5, 10, 15, 20 // 8, 13, 18, 23). For instance if you're seventeen, your aging range chart would look like this: 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27, 32, 37, 42, etc.

Q: How often do episodes occur?
It varies anywhere between a few days to a few weeks. It's said in Disturbed Sleep that Kim managed to stay the same for four months but is also said that this is the longest any of the Changers have gone without an episode.

Q: How did they become Changers? Why are they like that?
TBA. I'll write a story on it sooner or later.

Q: What are the characters' actual ages and sexes?
It's a mystery. ;)

Q: Uhhh! What is Ne/nem/nir/nirs/nemself?!
Third gender pronoun! Since it's ambiguous what the characters' true sexes are, she/he pronouns are sometimes inaccurate. Go here for more information on gender neutral pronouns.

Q: What is the difference between sex and gender?
Sex refers to the biology itself between males and females. Gender is an social and psychological identity. A person may be born of the female sex but not identify as a woman later in life. Transgendered individuals are a good example of this. See this post of gender related terms for further help.

Q: What are the genders of the Changers?
The majority of the Changers identify with whatever sex they happen to be at the time. They're uncertain of their gender like they are with their age. Trace, however, is notably genderqueer. This is one of the reasons why the third gender pronouns are sometimes used.
