Your parents definitely just need some time to think things through and come to terms with what has just been revealed to them. They still love you. They always have and always will. Try to concentrate on that thought.

Your parents should respect you and love you for who you are. You are amazing and if they think something otherwise, well then you don't need them anyway. It's always a valuble life lesson to remember how people hurt us, so we don't hurt others the same way, it this case: our children. Just remember not to treat your kids like that; I will remember the same thing. As long as you are happy- that is all that matters. You go girl. Major kudos for being honest and being yourself.
