Another one of their famous "we're going to picket" plans that COMPLETELY makes me sick... they planned to picket at the funerals of those Amish girls who were killed by that shooter last fall. Their signs were going to call the girls "whores" (they were AMISH and almost all were under the age of 10 or 11), etc. They finally promised not to picket in order to get an hour or two of unrestricted air time on a radio show. The radio host had offered them money not to picket and when that didn't work, he got the FCC and the radio station to let them have the air time in order to keep them from protesting.

Fred Phelps is just...sickening. As are all the other members of that church.

I didn't watch the videos, but I know there is a series of 7 on YouTube. These people absolutely outrage me and have since I first heard of them over a year ago. They are crazy and are brainwashing their children. In one of the videos I mentioned, one of the teenagers actually LAUGHS when she tells the journalist he's going to hell. When asked why she laughed, she said that she "rejoices in God's righteous judgements." The little leader guy also says that Bily Grahm, James Dobson, Pat Robertson, etc are all going to hell. I might agree with him about Pat Robertson, I think the first 2 are just severely misguided. I think they're overall good people. Sorta. It' a long story. Anyway...

And protesting at soldier's funerals!!! I hate the war, but you can't blame the troops. Those families are grieving! Hell's Angels actually often goes around to the funerals, when they hear the "church" is going, to keep them the required distance away. I'm so irate now thinking about it that I can't form another coherent thought.
