I love FFIX, and I think it's super underrated. I think FFVII is my favourite overall, but FFIX is my favourite to play. Because no central character DIES, tyvm. Also, Vivi! My love for Vivi knows no limits. I always play with Zidane/Dagger/Vivi/Eiko (lol once I even took them all to Oelivert. NEVER AGAIN) and I always make sure Vivi has the highest level out of all of them because he's the most bitchin.

lolololol I hear you on the mirrors. I never, ever use Quina, so before I go in I just put the auto-float boots on him/her, hope that that'll keep him/her alive at least a little while, and then when s/he dies I just let him/her float there all deadlike.

Also nobody can argue with Zack's death being the most tragic thing on the whole damn planet. This was me at the time:

I KNOW. He's all like, I'mma fall over, I'mma straighten my shirt, it's okay, I don't expect anyone to notice me. But on the inside he's like a complete BAMF who could burn down the entire planet if he were so inclined (which of course he isn't). I like to imagine that all the little Vivis at the end are from different womens, and he finally learned how awesome he is and went out pimpin with it.

No I don't use blue mages either. Not even Kimahri Ronso, of the Ronso tribe, who has learned the fiend's way of fighting. The only time I use enemy skills is in vii, and that's because it's too damn easy. Just equip the materia and let them attack you.
