I hope you all had an awesome day and had visions of sugarplums dancing in your head. I don't think any danced in my head, because I passed out way early and actually didn't wake up until nine this morning. A record for me. Usually I'm way excited and get up too early Christmas morning. xD

- Body sprays (when I opened the third one, I gave my dad a o_O look and asked, "WHAT, DO I SMELL OR SOMETHING" and he just laughed at me. And didn't answer. >>)
- Underwear that's not in the picture because I don't want my underwear all over LJ (even thought it's really awesome |D)
- My new favorite T-shirt based on a Natalie Dee comic that I can't seem to find

- An FFX shirt - it took me forever to work out what the heck was on it, but I thiiiink it's Braska's Final Aeon? vOv
- Paintbrushes from my sister, because I mentioned that I made all of my Cosmos armor with ONE paintbrush.

The Kindle was my 'open last' present, which is usually the most awesome thing/thing we've wanted the most...which makes me feel really guilty when I say I have no idea what to think about the Kindle. I feel so bad since the look on my dad's face was so excited when I opened it and it obvious he couldn't wait to give it to me. ^^;
But I don't know. I loooove reading - probably even more than gaming, GASP - but I'm not sure how I feel about reading books on a screen. The only thing I like reading on a screen is fanfic, and that's just because I don't want to waste all of the ink in the printer.
Plus, the downloadable books? Soooooooo expensive. Well, maybe not to some people, but when you don't have a job, even just eight dollars is a fortune. I looked up a Sarah Dessen book I've been wanting to read for ages and it was nineteen dollars. Nineteen! I usually buy all of my books used, so this just made my head explode. The Amazon gift card is supposed to be for Kindle books, but I don't know. I can't really justify spending so much money when I don't have the physical book in my hand. For nineteen dollars, I could easily get three used books in great condition instead of just one.
Ahhh, I don't mean to sound spoiled since it's a freaking epic gift and I honestly wasn't expecting it. I was pretty much, "A;LSKDJF;LWIAJF;ALISDJF OMG" when I opened it. xDD I dunno. Am I being cheap about it? I realize that books have gotten on the expensive side over the years, but when you're jobless...I dunno. I seriously can't wrap my head around it. I might like the Kindle more if I could get books at a discount or something. vOv
But I'm going to try it out! I've downloaded a few free ones that sound interesting, so I'll give that a whirl and see how I like reading on a screen. \o/
