Baby kicks when I wanna sleep. Insomnia on occasion. Yet as I lose the sugar intake I can't sleep past a certain point in the day. I have more physical energy, but my mind is lost regularly.
"I have more physical energy, but my mind is lost regularly."
It's probably just the effect of the hormones as well as one mind being in charge of two bodies. :) Have you thought of other longer lasting sources of energy less likely to make you crash after the sugar high - eg carbohydrates, fructose (fruit sugars I think produce less of the effect you're describing than refined sugars). Bear in mind that as the pregnancy progresses you'll be wanting to sleep more too. I've forgotten - when is your baby due?
"I'm being forced to eliminate sugar." - by who - health reasons, family, friend? Does it not just agree with you (eg you react too strongly to it)? I'm just curious - tell me off if I'm being too nosey.

The doctors told me to. And my family and friends are enforcing it. I'd complained about lathargy at my last OB appointment and the doctor told me to take out as much sugar as possible. There wasn't anything in the glucose testing but I have been better off for it. It was to the point I wasn't getting any of the buzz and only the crash from eating it.

Well...its nice that there is some way that I might be able to keep up with the goings on of my friends...but I would much sooner talk privatly...cuz I have alot of questions, and yahoo messenger isn't seeming to work. Oh well.
