What's teh deal with teh Day of Silence this year? I know there was one in April but do we want to coordinate another one for this semester?

gsa already steps on A LOT of toes at school day of silence is a bad idea at school, perhaps on weekends...we could wear signs or something and make a small impact but also the school will never let us do it.

I don't necessarily think that's true. I mean, not the part about us stepping on people's toes. (Step on them to get our voices heard damnit!) But I think that there's the national day and teachers were awesome about that. I'm just saying for this semester we could have one. All it is is you show your teachers a little card that GLSEN or something like that has. Just saying "think of all the voices you're not hearing today" and stuff like that. I could put the link of the page up later. I don't think we'd be stepping on any toes. Just picking one day when we're not talking due to our beliefs. I don't think anyone would be offended by it. Just a thought.
