Summary: As Jim deals with how Nero has impacted 21st century Earth, he must also learn to cope with his bond with Spock and leaving the only home he's ever known. Can Jim and Spock repair and build their relationship - a mere month old - while forging bonds with the rest of the Enterprise crew? Especially when a wrench is thrown into their plans by a mysterious stranger who can offer Jim a different past, and 21st century Vulcans who can offer Jim a different future.
Summary 2: Sequel to Zenith, a Twilight AU, where this fic is technically the "New Moon" and "Eclipse" equivalents in the series.

So, as you can see, the editing and posting of this has been kind of slow. On the bright side, the darn thing is actually complete. But the downside is that editing might give it another 2k or so, so it's not 100% ready to post in entirety. I am thankful for everyone's patience, and for all the kind notes I've received that have wondered where the story is - hell, that people actually remember Zenith, and that it would have a sequel, is very touching. So as a result of that kindness, I've decided to post what I have edited and polished. I hope you all like it, and I will continue to add to this post in the future as further chapters are finalized.
