Title: Not worth it
Groups: Hey!Say!JUMP
Characters: Yabu Kouta/Takaki Yuya
Words: 170
A hand shyly gets a hold his and for a second there is the urge to jerk back.
Not because the warm skin rubbing against his palm doesn’t feel pleasant, or because their fingers finding each other and entangling seems wrong. It’s because the warm touch of another human being is new and scary, what if it leaves and there’s nothing but cold surrounding him again?
Kouta squeezes his hand lightly, Yuya’s shy smile making his own lips curve upwards too.
He throws a look over his shoulder, the factory being an immense contrast to the clear blue sky. It’s tubes releases an infinite amount of smoke, dirtying the sky.
It saddens him. It saddens him even more than once he was a part of it.
“Don’t look back,” Yuya tells him. “It’s not worth it.”
He nods, slowly. Yuya is right. It’s not.
The grasp around Yuya’s fingers tightens and Kouta pulls him along. Leaving the factory and the lives they used to live behind them. Without looking back.
