I agree with your response. I don't want some other person to tell me that even though I've decided that I do not want children that I can't have an abortion if an "oops" occures. I don't want to be forced to have a baby when I know I cannot afford one. I know people would suggest adoption, but there's plenty of kids in foster homes & orphanages that are not adopted because no one wants them. How do I know that my baby will be one of the lucky ones that someone will want? Who has the right to tell me what I can & can't do with my life?

Thanks for your response and support. You make a good point about all the unwanted children in orphanages and foster homes. Some of them were born as the standard "healthy white infant" that everyone is supposedly trying to adopt, but many weren't.

Those children who are already here should be a higher priority than possible babies that women don't want to have.
