Jang Wooyoung was born with two souls, in which one of them came out in the form of an invisible entity bounded to him in an unbreakable force. Because of this, Wooyoung is different and posses power other people don’t. Unfortunately, at such young age, Wooyoung doesn’t know how to control it well. When he’s too driven by emotions, he loses control of his body and power that often causes harm to the people around him.
His family doesn’t want a freak like him, but a group of scientists does so his family handed Wooyoung over to them. They carry out experiments in order to learn more about Wooyoung and the mysterious entity, teaching him how to control it. At the age of 16, the National Intelligence Service takes over and brings him with them. He’s forced to mature at such a young age, trained to be the perfect soldier (and especially as their weapon). Here is also where he meets Ok Taecyeon, and he’s the closest thing to family Wooyoung ever knew.
20 is the age when they finally let Wooyoung out and be independent, although he’s still under the NIS and works for them. Amazed by such freedom he never had before, Wooyoung explores the world as much as he can. He meets Junho at a party and recklessly falls in love with him. However, Wooyoung makes a huge mistake that does not only shook the agency’s trust in him, but also Taecyeon’s. Guilty and ashamed, Wooyoung takes off to somewhere far away from home, leaving everyone (including Junho) behind.
Wooyoung meets Nichkhun at a club in his new place. Ever since then, Wooyoung grows a liking towards the said guy. Nichkhun is a troubled man- a young singer who retired early because he couldn’t take the overwhelming attention people has on him. Nichkhun’s happiness was completely taken away the day he found out he has his own stalker. Wooyoung befriends Nichkhun somehow and grows infatuated of him. Wooyoung gets rid of Nichkhun’s stalker (and haters), but with that he’s the one who became obsessed with Nichkhun next and wants Nichkhun to himself. He hurts and sometimes kills the people who try to get close to Nichkhun.
Meeting Junho again wasn’t a part of his plan, neither does getting a letter from the NIS. They tell him to come back, and if he refuses they will have to take him by force. It was later revealed that Junho is the agent sent by the NIS and he’s the one who tracked Wooyoung down and let them know of his location. Even though Junho still harbors feelings for Wooyoung, he sticks to his mission of bringing Wooyoung back alive or dead. As it turns out, the NIS feels threatens by Wooyoung’s existence and how much power he’s gained over the years and realizes they’ve been raising a monster all this time. They want him back, but Wooyoung refuses to be caged again.
He has to tell Nichkhun the truth, and not wanting the people to hurt Nichkhun, Wooyoung breaks thing off between them. Wooyoung prepares himself to fight against everyone including the ones whom he used to call his family and the ones whom he once had come to love.
This is Wooyoung remembering his life and recalling the events that lead to his death.
