Miles (son) has broken his T-Mobile phone. With only until May on his contract, I don't want to buy him another phone, because I want to add him to my AT&T family plan when the T-Mobile expires. Does anyone have a T-Mobile phone laying around that they would like to give away or sell cheap? The cheapest I can get from them without a contract ( Read more... )

AT&T and T-Mobile are both GSM carriers, so if you've got a spare (non-iPhone) GSM phone sitting around, you should be able to stick his SIM card in it and it will work.

Unfortunately, I switched to AT&T when I got my i Phone, but I have friends who have other AT&T phones around:)

I have my old one you can have for free. Just a basic Samsung. I think a T119 or something like that.
