I noticed that you've been looking really sad lately, and I hate seeing you like that because you're usually such a happy person. I know that there are reasons, though, and that you're not just doing it for show. I know what it's like to be living with just your mom for the longest time and then a man who isn't your dad walks in to the picture... that can definitely be hard, so you know you can come to me at absolutely any time if you need to talk about that or anything else (I'm sure you already knew that, but hey, some reassurance never hurts).
