Worst typo-fixing story ever: at Halloween when I was thirteen or so, one of the neighbors had left a bowl of candy with a paper sign that said "TAKE ONE PLEAS." None of us had a pen, but one of my friends was chewing gum, and we decided to actually make an E on the sign with her used chewing gum.
