+ The Good Wife: I started watching it this weekend because my friend kept insisting that I check it out, I was promised Dan Rydell/Carol Hathaway action, and my ER rewatch made me realize that I need Julianna Margulies back in my life on a weekly basis. YOU GUYS, I LOVE IT. I didn't think I would because I'm not a procedural show kind of person ( Read more... )

Re: Crosby and Jabbar, ZOMG I KNOWWWWW. SO CUTE. AHHHHH. I'm also really, randomly, obsessed with Julia on that show. I don't even know but I love her crazily. (&Lauren Graham is good but she is playing some hybrid of herself and Lorelai Gilmore and that's problematic.)

MODERN FAMILY! More love! I don't even know what I like about it, really. Just all of them together, being ridiculous.

And word on HIMYM. That is it exactly.

Julia would totally be ME if I was, you know, a successful lawyer so I have a soft spot for her. Last night, Jabbar was ridiculously adorable ("But he's right there!" re: Crosby) and Crosby being so proud of himself for his big grown-up moment. I don't find Dax Shepard attractive at all but I heart them together. Also, I did not realize until last week that Ann from Arrested Development (her?!) was playing Lorelai's daughter. Mind blown!

I think I've seen clips of Band of Brothers but not the whole miniseries. Is it any good?

Dear lord yes. The characters, writing, plot even the music is all sooo good. And the fact the story is all true blows my mind!

Totally agree about Chuck. I still like it but I'm not madly in love with it -- thought I was the only one! ;D The whole "I'm a spy but I can't kill people!" is perhaps an admirable moral stance but is totally ridiculous, and I've never really had any investment in Chuck/Sarah, so I haven't cared too much about the neverending will-they-or-won't-they of their relationship. But it's still generally a fun show to watch for me, and Casey remains incredibly awesome.

And I loooooove Modern Family. :D

Something about Chuck/Sarah rubs me in the wrong way. He refuses to run away with her last season so he can become a real spy and now that he is one, he's changed his mind and wants to run away again? Why, because he's now "man enough"? I don't get it! They're dragged out the will-they-or-won't-they faaar to long for my liking and now they just annoy me. Just give the screen time to Awesome and Casey and I'll be happy again.

Icon!love! Oh, I heart that scene. Just thinking about it makes me laugh. =)
