By 'almost got hit' do you mean to say the sound of brakes were involved?

sorta my fault. The light started turning green and the bus wanted to hit the accelerator. The car...well she was on her cell phone and just didnt see me.

Why does he predict that you would get hit by a bus? Of all things...really.

I almost got run over by a facilities truck. I was walking. Yeah. Oh, and there'll probably be a lot of things not to tell the parents about...like my combustible teddy bear experiment!

At least you're in Gainsville. I'm in Tallahassee, where the motto is "Death Before Turn Signals" and pedestrians are constantly run over for sport. I've only been here for two weeks also, and I witnessed one accident about ten feet away from my car, and saw the aftermath of another. I think I'd prefer it at UF, honestly. At least when it comes to that.

I hear sirens at least once a day in Gainesville. Whether it be an ambulance or a police car, I always hear it. I believe people here drive like crazy. Stupid College Students...pfft.

Yes true. I've decided to use the gasoline situation as an excuse not to drive for a while. I just don't trust the drivers around here, because they're mostly inconsiderate college students.
