My trip is set. July 3-27. The travel editor wants me to write about why I want to go and give a basic travel itinerary and why I want to go (again), what I want to see and do and such, by June 12 and then send daily updates to her that are about 3/4 paragraphs long. I've had a pretty tough day emotionally. I guess you wouldn't know it 'cause I'm so spunky but I am. I had two beautiful talks with two beautiful people. I appreciate these people very much. There once was a girl who entered an essay contest in the Miami Herald. It was 150 words and she thought it was impossible. I'm riding the crimson wave. My feet are chilly and I'm worried about my future. I'm afraid I'm going to have to be a 5th year senior and I can't afford that. Sleepy but okay. Dad's trial is going alright, my family is not psycho today and my sister is also 16 today. The baby of the family is 16. Wow. Strangeness. I've just looked up like 4000 music festivals this summer 'cause I really want to go to one. Maybe one of my friends will come too!

Feeling inadequate today. But I'm exhausted. Stayed up until I don't know when helping dad and still had to pass out before him. he only got an hour of sleep. Today's the big day and I'm lost in my own insecurities. BAH!
