Question for you

For the artists and customers of artist alleys at conventions...

What kind of things do you sell? How do you price them?
And as a shopper, what would you buy and for how much?

^_^ Doing some research in preparation for August~

It's back at UBC this year as far as I know. I think I'll stick to AE this year. It's unfortunate that I missed it last year though.

But thanks for the price ranges and stuff. Very useful!

Do you have a table at AE???
Would you mind sharing a table with me? XD;; *on the waiting list*

I sell a variety of stuff.
- buttons $2 each. old stuff are discounted at $1.
- bookmarks $2 each. old stuff are discounted at $1.
- books $3 - $15.
- crochet dolls. $15 and up.
- keychains/cellphone charm $3

I don't usually sell prints because they don't sell. XD; But other people do fine with them.

A friend of mine actually invited me to share her table (which is how I got in). Otherwise I would share with you =D

Hm... prints seem to be hard to sell from the sounds of what I hear from other people as well. Bookmarks sound like a popular item. I should really look more into arts and crafts rather than pure drawing....

Quick question... how do you get those button pins made?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to your question.. I was internet-less for a week.. T_T

Lucky you :D I hope
I bought a hand held button press way back when it was cheaper. Like around $80 USD.. I think it got more expensive right now? I'm not sure. I heard about people being able to rent it somewhere.

lol it got cut off.

^^ I hope I can get a table too.. I wonder if bribing the organizer with doing a panel on small press comic can trade me a table.....
