i am sorry for your loss.
when i put down one of my dogs, it was the worst experience ever.

i remember that entry, for i commented on it with my different username.

You showed her a great life for the amount of time that you had her. All of that love and care devoted to her will not be forgotten. She passed knowing that her mommy (you?) loved her. For that, both you and her can be at peace.

I was thinking....After re-reading several of your past entries.....Did the doctors do any sort of rectum exam to check for discoloration in her poop? Mydnite's symptoms seemed like they were exactly like what my dog was going through. And though my dog would have died within 1 day since she is really small, if your dog was suffering from the same thing my dog was, I can see why it was dragged out for a number of days...since she is bigger and her immune system could probably handle a lot more than a small dog.

Yeah, I was just wondering about that exam, because my dog's poop was AQUA....due to snail poison. The apple tree/mushroom explaination seems like that would be the cause of Mydnite's illness.
I know you posted that a few days ago, but have you received any new updates?

Sorry to bother you. I know this is a time for grieving. I'm just curious.

I don't know what the vet did. Her poop was just a yellow/brownish stuff. Nothing like your puppy.

Midnyte wasn't suffering at all. Not once. She was in no pain, seizures are painless for dogs, and I know she wasn't in any pain...I'm thankful for that. Don't be sorry either, I really don't mind answering people's questions.
