*g* Well to be honest there wasn't all that much smut in it (I apparently fail at kink-memes) but thank you, and again for the rec in your journal.

(Plus, let's face it: I've written mostly gen or PG stories myself.

The trend's totally your fault - you're the captain of this great ship - how are the minions meant to write smut if you don't lead by example? :)

This is so perfect. The Amberverse interactions between the Olivias are my new favorite thing (and Lincoln, too). That and thinking about the whole "kidnapped" thing...SO MANY POSSIBILITIES.

Oh don't get me started. I think I had a whole b-story for this plotted in my head - trying to figure out the particulars of her kidnapping - whereby if Peter never existed, she didn't cross over to red-verse at the end of season 2.

And the second cortexphan trial that occurred in 1985 (the first was in 1981 according to season one) didn't happen because Walter wasn't trying to send Peter home when Olivia/Peter were both 7. They don't meet as kids, Peter doesn't convince her to confide in an adult about her stepfather's abuse, Olivia doesn't confront Walter at his desk and inadvertantly inform Walternate about his son or her own ability to jump between realities… Er, sorry….I could go on but you know the drift.

The upshot of it was her kidnapping was a simple exchange of matter - our liv for their's - and Walternate simply stashed her away in prison to keep her out from underfoot. But you are absolutely right…SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!

LOL seems like we're in the same boat. I've spent so much time trying to catalog the differences from one timeline to the next, but I'm much more interested in what we're probably never going to know. It's the details! I think I manage to add so much to my head canon after seeing each new episode.

Would you mind if I friend you?

Go ahead. But I should warn you other than fan-fic, I don't post to often. If you're happy with that, feel free.

I like this a hell of a lot. The two Olivias have different reasons for distrust, but their need for control is omnipresent, and Lincoln as a mediating presence keeps this from descending darker, gives them a touchstone to pry them from digging into one another.
