Sad part is that I've got the makings of a half decent story, which I'm not worried about my recipient liking, and at least double the minimum word count on paper already. It's just nowhere near to being a complete story and I hadn't intended on spending most of my free time this month navigating the waters of the public school system as they handle/mishandle ADHD children... hence the crack potential. ;)
I am fairly certain my recipient will love everything I write (mostly because we're so well aligned in the first place).
Mm, some idea of what they enjoy definitely makes it easier - and I don't mean prompt - I mean writing style or themes. I'm wondering if I could re-title last years santa fic and pass it off as new...but I'm guessing that won't cut it. *g*
We're wayyy behind on WD. I'm not that squeamish, but yes, yes, the "everything sucks and people are worse than zombies" theme can only be taken in small doses.
Your brain pops out amazing things when it's being contrary. This is not a condition to be rectified.
*laughs*. You shouldn't feel the need to creep around my journal - the only thing you're likely to be attacked by is the dust bunnies - and to be honest, your tumblr's a heck of a lot more entertaining.

Yeah, I have a feeling that my recipient is going to get a heavy dose of crakfic and a promise of something better later on.
