Do stars and galaxies die because they have sin, have gotten distracted, and lost the flow?

Actually yes! The word sin in the new testament is translated from the greek ἁμαρτία(hamartia) which literally means "to miss the mark." Stars and galaxies, as we, posses this "miss the mark" nature, because they are decaying even at the subatomic level.

It was this nature, in our physical world, that Jesus Christ came as a human to embody, and to completely overcome by his life and by his resurrection from death. In doing so he set a precedent for us. We can grasp this esoteric principle, but also, basing our faith on what happened, we have the power to repeat it in every way.

He tied it all together, the physical and the spiritual, the esoteric and the exoteric. As He says in revelation, "I am the alpha and the omega, the first and the last."
