Loving Chicago
I had no idea it would be this amazingly beautiful here in late summer. I am totally loving life here in Hyde Park. I need your (mailing/physical) address.
I am doing a major room cleaning/overhaul, and I have four practically brand-new Chicago books that I was feeling really bummed about. I have no reason to keep them, but they're great books, and were super helpful when I was visiting and considering moving there. I'm so totally gonna send them to you!
One's a really great map book called the "NFT (Not For Tourists)" guide. It has the city all broken into sectors, and spends two pages for each sector - one showing banks and practical stuff, the second showing stuff like pizza places.
Another is just a general guidebook. The third is called "Cheap Chow Chicago" - I found it to be awesome. And the last one is the "Newcomer's Guide to Chicago" or something like that. A guide to moving/relocating there, as opposed to a guide to touring there.
Are these something you'd like tohave? I'd love to be able to give them to you!
