First, Newsweek pulled a Dan Rather on us, running a fabricated story just because they wanted it to be true. Several questions - did you post this in agreement with its author? Is it kind of a declaration or is it up for discussion?

Thanks!

like i said, i only agree with part of it, and i'll get into that next, but i must reply to but cowards is just an old propaganda trick of attempting to emasculate those which we seek to hate.everything is nothing but a propanganda trick...thats what this country is, one big pile of propaganda...i love my country, support our troops, and this war, but people believe what they hear which conservatives and liberals alike use that to blur the truth...and part of what Patton says is a great example of that ( ... )

Okay, that's cool. So are you saying that all truth is relative? I guess I think there's a difference between saying "a group of people killed "our" people and we need to retaliate" and "using a bunch of generalizations based on emotions meant to whip up the public so that support is easier to obtain. One is dealing with the task at hand, the other blurs lines of who's guilty and who's guilty by association. Its a dangerous game to play, and history shows that when used by either extreme of the political spectrum, it usually backfires. And my point is that it isn't needed. We've got enough to be pissed off about without trying to escalate it without regard to any facts and eventually any innocents that might get caught up in it ( ... )
