I just wrote this HUGE update, left the computer for 1 minute, and a kid came behind me and deleted the whole damned thing. Errrr. Well, I guess I'll wait until nap time to attempt a real update. Blah -

I'm sick, the kids have been sick....and CRANKY. This has pretty much been the week from hell. And Mark not getting home most nights until after the little ones are in bed hasn't helped at all.Stupid job, stupid having to work, stupid money. On Marriage and Name Change
Why is it acceptable, even encouraged, for a woman to give up the name that she's had her entire life, and take on her husband's last name, but not the other way around. Because upon being born, she became her father's property...and upon marriage, ownership is transferred to the husband, requiring her name to reflect that change? Ugh.

Christmas
Christmas was OK. My family came over Xmas eve and we had hot chocolate, egg nog and yummy treats while we decorated the tree.The kids opened their presents from my parents and my brothers. I'm beat tonight
MIL is down now. Her bus came in a couple of hours late yesterday morning, but at least she made it safely. The kids are SO happy to see her, and Mark is exstatic.He's really missed her.
