Hello people.

Just an update to let those that are interested know that the next chapter to The Victim of Circumstance will be posted soon, along with a Harry/Draco one-shot written for lauradumb, which is called Parade. Because I'm nice like that. :-)

I wonder if you remember me? Perhaps not. It's been a while since I was on LiveJournal. I was studying overseas and dropped off the Online Planet for ages.

How's it going?

I know we didn't really know each other online, but I've come back after a couple of years away to see whats happened to LJ and all places I used to regularly visit. And to re-read some of my recs from years gone by.

And then I see that there was a rec that was wip, your 'Victim of Circumstance' fic. I've reread those 4 chapters and expected more, only to find this post. Promise of more chapters, but none posted.

I hope you're ok. Did you ever finish this story?

It's so strange that you've just come back, because I'VE only just come back. I have every intention of finishing TVoC, and I have other stories (not all Harryverse) ready to go. I will post soon. I was studying in the States (NYU), and I sort of just fell off the radar a bit. Well ... a lot. I

'm just waiting to hear back from my beta (who I haven't spoken to in AGES and who is a TEACHER now (?!?!?!? - I'm so old)), and I'll begin posting.

I'm *thrilled* you're going to start writing again. Yea, I fell out of fandom when I moved to Australia (am still here) but miss it and the community, so just want to get back into it. Awesome that you're coming back too. :)

Hope your beta gets back to you soon (Aren't we all growing up!?!)

Some things are just meant to be. My beta emailed me two hours ago and I have just uploaded the newest chapter. Yay!

And you're right, we are all growing up. I just wish we weren't. Things were so much simpler when I was young.
