Writing

There is no reason in the world why anyone apart from me should care about these. But they're the only original writing I've *done* recently, so here we go:

Two more love stories )

I absolutely loved the first one! The second was also really good - I liked the description.

Glad you liked, hon =) Again, thanks for reading - the first one contains my longest-lived original pairing, not that I've written them now for a long time . . .

(fanfic eating my life, sob . . .)

Thank you ^^

Hey, a bit off-topic here, but this is Ambre from the FmA archive, Scimitar Smile. I'm throwing an invite your way on behalf of the owner, Mikkeneko. If you accept, I'll tell you what to do from there.

Hey honey - already talked to you about this, but now need to apologise: been struck ill in the middle of stock taking at work, and it may be a few days before I can get back to you on this ;) But thanks again for the offer, I do promise to contact you at some point when I'm not quite so . . . dead.

G'night ^^;

Okay, so- I read these forever ago, because I've been lurking around your work since Closer was a one-shot humor fic, and I've never known quite how to express how much I love your writing when you already have so many other comments saying exactly what I'm thinking.

These are, of course, wonderful and there are very few authors that I love both original and fanwork of.

I, like you, am not much of an mpreg fan - but I read it, because you wrote it and that arc instantly replaced Closer as my favorite, believe it or not. I've, for the most part, stopped reading fic- but I do still try to keep up with your work.

All that aside, I would love it if you'd add me as a friend, and have been admittedly too shy to say anything up until this now.

You know, sometimes the one extra 'I love this' makes your day =) Honestly, thank you. I am having a deeply shitty week and this made me feel so hopelessly happy to come home to =)

And seeing as I've had to recently talk to some deeply admired fic authors and not sound like a moron . . . I understand shyness but honestly, I'm a mouse, I wouldn't worry ;) You are perfectly welcome to friend, I like new people =) My life is, however, dull and whiny but I'm happy to share it all the same ^^

And thanks for reading these, of course =)

I'm happy I finally got around to sending you a comment then ^^ Glad I could improve your shitty week, it's the least I can do with all the great fic you write for us to enjoy.

I don't think I'll ever forget a little comment you made awhile back about lurkers being a large part of fan-base, and appreciated just as much as commenting fans. It made me feel important, even if I wasn't saying anything, yet...

My life's a little more hostile than dull and whiny, so trust me I'd love to hear about your's ;) That's actually why I commented with my writing journal, you don't need my rants filling up your friends page.
I'll be adding both of your journals to my personal one (icarusxelric), but feel free to only friend this one back.

Thank you for sharing them ^^

Well, thanks for the comment, honey =)

I have to make the assumption that lurkers are there because, well, I was, for years - but of course I have very little evidence in any direction ;) I don't really like making ripples in the universe, so I was content to lurk for ages. Not everyone wants to comment on every fic they read, I understand that, it's fine, no-one's under any obligation on the internet. So yes, I do have a soft spot in my heart for the lurker . . .

And apologies in advance for extremely long pointless posts whenever I get bored/mopey/geekish/confused and feel the need to *ramble* ^^;

I just stumbled on these original writings today. I have read the longer version of the Adam and Luke story and I have to say that even the short version is so wow. You are such a talented writer. By the By I bought the short story are there any other available to purchase of yours? Also is this where you share your original fic? Thank you for sharing. I have read nothing of yours that I have not like yet so I am always thrilled to find new writing (even if it is only new to me).

Wow, thanks a lot for buying that book ^^ I do very occasionally post original fiction here but really not often. There is a second book due out soon, but I couldn't make Adam & Luke talk so it's a different story in there, but it is one I'm quite proud of - I barely dare reread the last one, I scribbled it out in a weekend and I'm worried it shows ;)

Really glad you liked, honey, and thank you for reading. Really, thanks =)

Can you tell me if the second book has come out? Is it by the same company? Thanks for the reply and you are very welcome. ;)

Do you know, I don't know if the second book is out or not? I had some issues with the editor and by the lack of communication since, I guess she's not talking to me anymore ;) The press has a website if you just google wapshott, but I don't know if it's out for sale. I'm also strangely beyond caring, ahem, but if you want to take a look it's there ;)
