So, so happy to hear from you. I am sorry to hear that you have been unwell; I have thought of you often, sending you all the positive energy an agnostic can. Please keep us updated (even briefly) periodically?

As far as the first debate, I hope you enjoyed the wheezing, sniffling and incomplete sentences of someone who is supposed to be in perfect health; as well as the self-satisfied chuckling of someone who knows they win walking away, at least as judged on looking like an adult person. After watching that, I can see why Americans appear to be so strange to other folks.

Just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you frequently, and hoping that your doctors can find something to help you feel more yourself. The American election shitshow continues unabated, with more fuel thrown on the fire on the daily. Thanks go to the media and the voters being more attracted to cartoons and horror stories than to an understanding of how things actually work, and who should be making decisions for us.
The sexist paternalistic agenda continues, almost unnoticed by many. As an old lady who grew up in the 50's and 60's, I am still hoping to see a woman as US president, just to prove to folks that it will not be Armaggeddon. I assume that you find this sideshow entertaining, if not terrifying. My very best wishes, feel better, Rainjoy.
