I have the exact opposite problem, LOL. I have way too little manga to read recently and I'm not tremendously passionate about the ones I do follow now.

I think I'm more confused than tired or disappointed for Who.

That's a bit of the thing with me, that the characters do have their continuity going on and I like that, but lately when it's crack it's almost 'infumable' crack, and when it's drama it's almost too dramatic. I digged Marceline better when she was the troll friend and not 1000 years of issues, but it could be just me.

TBH I can't afford tickets anymore -the last time I went was for The Avengers- so I've gone pirate. My copy of WI-R was dreadful by the end. We have Paranorman ready to watch, but my brother is trying to convince the family to watch it together for some reason and I'm on hold.

I loved The Avengers and what little I saw of Hugo looked good. I read the book a while ago and really want to reread it to renew my knowledge of the story before seeing the movie.

I'm toying with the idea of reading Hawkeye though I'm afraid of the slippery slope that might be the beginning of.

I saw Hugo's original novel a few months ago in a store, but they only published a very elaborate, expensive hardcover edition over here. Gorgeous, sure, but I can't afford it right now. I think I'll have to look for the ebook instead. But as a standalone movie and no knowledge of the book, I found it great and pretty.

You can totally read Hawkeye without reading other comic books, as a matter of fact! It's very tight and self-contained. The only possible danger is Kate Bishop (the second Hawkeye) being so cool that you might want to check Young Avengers for context on her and Clint.

The movie was visually stunning as was the book.

I'm already thinking I want to see more of Kate just from fanfics.
