I haven't posted here much about what is going on because it's been a very tough few months here with my father. He just turned 80 on March 8 and is near later stage Alzheimer's. He took a pretty bad downward turn over Christmas, to point we could no longer leave him alone and it's been a steady decline since. My brother and I have re-arranged

you're very sensible and caring towards your dad. not many people would spend 15 years of their lives caring for aging parents, and it's great that you have so much love for your dad.

I was wondering what you were up to these days but I never suspected it to be that bad. *huggles again*
It is not selfish to sign off a DNR, you are concerned that you and your brother prolong the suffering of your dad.
Alzheimer's is such a nasty illness and the late stages are horrifying.
