Yayyy you're posting recipes again. I've missed your posts!

I have made these before but minus the wax. I used just melted chocolate and it worked. It was messy as hell though. Does the wax make a huge diff?

The wax really does make a difference. It helps smooth the chocolate and helps it adhere to what you want to dip. It also makes it set more quickly. You can't taste it (unless you use too much). It makes clean up easier too if you do it while the bowl/pan is still hot.
