I sometimes think that the best life would be to just go work wherever, a bakery or bookstore or a tolerable retail locale, and spend the rest of my time writing and reading french plays and seeing interesting people.

i feel exactly the same, except mine is located in london, and other than education i'm not sure how to get there.

Oh, I can enjoy school. Though I have mixed feelings about the so-called "rat race" (excuse the annoying term). It's just nice to consider living differently sometimes.
