LOL I JUST mainlined this whole drama last week, even though it's from a few years ago. But it was so good I ended up skipping a lot of sleep just so I could find out what happened next!

This is definitely one of my top 5 favorite dramas of all time, particularly on the strength of the OT3. And watching this made me really regret that kdrama fandoms don't really produce slash fic! Talk about a missed opportunity...

It hasn't been that long, has it? Because it led me into the wonderful world of Nam Goong Min's smiles and sexy sexy body and sexy sexy voice and that was only recently. SERIOUSLY, HOW IS HE EVEN REAL.

This is definitely one of my top 5 favorite dramas of all time

SAME. Actually, I think it's one of the only dramas besides Legend and Bara no nai Hanaya that I would rec without any reservations whatsoever.

I wish drama fandom did produce fic. ;_____;

No, you're right -- it was only last year! Somehow I thought it was older.

CYHMH had some of the best actors. Nam Goong Min made me fall in love with his character even when he was being a selfish brat, and Kim Jae Won may have the most enchanting smile I've ever seen. *_____*

Hahahaha, I spent like five episodes thinking "wow, Ma Ru is a little prick" and then he GREW UP INTO NAM GOONG MIN and suddenly I found deep amounts of sympathy and understanding for his strugge. AMAZING HOW THAT WORKS.

Isn't KJW famous for his smile? Because I can totally see why. Unffffffff.

I remember this drama! I totally watched the first episode back when you first started posting on your journal about it. :D I need to get back to it someday. But only after I finish Dal Ja's Spring, it took over my life this weekend. You could have mentioned it came with brain eating powers you know. >_>

Episode 7 and I like everybody??? This is really confusing to me, I was sure I was going to hate her ex forever but he's so pathetic I can't. Also I'm really pro Dal Ja having friends and good times and he's suddenly turned good for that!

idk idk if I was going to pick a favourite it'd be Dal Ja. And Seo Joon. And Tae Bong. Top favourite depends on whether I am laughing at Tae Bong because Dal Ja and her ex (i can't remember his name yet, I don't care about hum that much) threw up on his shoes or whether Dal Ja is pulling a Jane Eyre with the director guy or whether Seo Joon (and the ex) is using the power of friendship, clubbing, and transparent manipulation to help along the Dal Ja/director shipping train.

Also while we're here, oh my god, the director's wife is so creepy, the scene where she kept calling Dal Ja was shot like something out of a horror movie. D: I'm worried she's going to snap and like poison Dal Ja's food and there will be dramatic angsty hospital scenes where everything is terrible.

Well, I'm currently watching a 100+ ep daily so 30 episodes is a breeze. ^^

This drama was practically made of teh cute and rainbows and sunshine. Well, for the most part. Woo Ri/Dong Joo are one of my favourite OTPs ever. So cute and perfect together. I could have done without the Jun Ha pityparty at the end strech though... *runs and hides* ;P

*boggles* There's no way I could do 100+ episodes. I commend your dedication, ma'am.

I could have done without the Jun Ha pityparty at the end strech though

See, I was the opposite. In the beginning I was like "and fuck you, Ma Ru" but then he grew up and suddenly I just wanted to give him ALL THE SNUGGLES. I'm sure it had nothing to do with Nam Goong Min, though.

Heh, I'm at ep 89 atm and it's been a breeze. The episodes are only about 35 min each though. It's been very entertaining despite all the kdrama tropes they've managed to cram in the story. I think they've so far missed only drama-sickness and amnesia. ;P I'm watching it mainly for the OTP (fakecest galore) and Suh Joon Young. My, but that boy is easy on the eyes.... and he angsts very beautifully too. XD

Pityparties irritate me no matter how purity the character in question is. And NGM is veeerry purity indeed.

Wow, really? What drama is this? You intrigued me with the mention of fakecest.

I notice you left out the fact that the drama is over 30 eps long. lol. I dont know I need a concise story this is why I cant deal wtih american dramas. they just go on forever. I dont care how good your story is you dont need 30 hours to tell it (I mean I get when historical dramas do it but anything else? no excuse!) sorry I am just being a buzzkill. I actually do want to watch it cause it looks so sweet but i just know i'd get bored real fast. esp since its clearly a slice of life type of drama. although Kim Jae Won is so fuckin gorgeous. mmmmm.

Actually, it was in the first sentence of this pimp... XD

CYHMH really does pack a lot into the 30 eps, though. It's just not slice of life, it's revenge and romance and birth secrets too. If nothing else I'd recommend giving the childhood eps a try - did you ever see Won Bin's movie Ajusshi/The Man From Nowhere? It's the same little girl actress and she's awesome.

No I didnt see ahjusshi its not my type of film (actually it sounds like a grittier but less fun version of takashi miike's Like a Dragon)

Actually i was thinking i'd skip the child eps. dont care much about kids XD if i could find someone who just recapped that part that would be faboo. anyway its on my drama list but its kind of low priority. only cause so many kdramas are coming out that i really really want to see. both this month and in april and may, i hope at least some of them are terrible otherwise its alot to keep up with lol. Oh and sorry I didnt see you mention the episode count. now i feel like a jerk XD my bad my bad

i find hwang jung-eum totally cute but basically i want this show to be kim sae-ron and kim jae won. which presents a problem. i think i'm all drama'd out (you snuck one last one in there) but i'm totally on this on the next go-round. kim jae won *___________* and i've never even seen him in anything! i think him and gu hye sun should get together and have a glow-off.

Sadly, you aren't him. Because you don't have a crooked bowtie of adorableness!

if i find a bow-tie will i become junha?
