Today was out of the ordinary! I actually overslept, which I never do. And on my way to class this morning, my daughters school called! I had to turn around and get my Raindrop. She wasn't sick, fortunely, But I did end up missing my class! Oh well, what can I say? That's life! At least as I know it. It wasn't a bad day just a crazy day. I hope all

Anyway I really appreciated your words of encouragement. And by the way I did not get the impression that you were complaining, the reason I wrote back was to say "you are not alone" Its nice to know that others are in similar situations to us and if we can help each other out with some moral support thats great. i look forward to more of this class for that very reason, I am amazed at all the connecting thats going on with all the diverse people in our class. Its really wonderful!
I hope today is less crazy for you. By the way I only read my emails today so i will have to change my habit of not checking daily. Take it easy :-)

I've allowed students bring children with them to class. There are a few "rules", of course. I need to be sure that no one else in the class would mind. (Sometimes the energy of a child bothers others in the class, even when the child is a quiet reader.) Let me know if and when you have child care crises on Fridays, and we'll (the community) see what we can do.
