Three people were shot around eight forty-five this morning down Flinders Lane, in the central business district of Melbourne. One is dead and the other two are critical. How horrifying. And apparently it was a somewhat opportunistic crime, which makes it even more shocking, I thought - guy was arguing with the three soon-to-be victims, it got out ( Read more... )

Is that what happened? My friend just got a panicked call from his mum telling him to stay away from Flinders cause there was a crazy gunman on the loose and we didn't know what to think. We were at Crown and worrying if it was too close or not...

Yeah - according to the mX. Guy hasn't been caught yet, so that was probably a good idea. Staying away and all.

It's amazing how fast we desensitized it though. We were in Crown cause we were in the arcade, and at first we were shocked, then we were like "...well, nothing we can do, let's play Drum Mania". XD

But yeah, staying away is good. My own suburb is just as ghetto though.

Holy shit IN MELBOURNE. I can't believe that actually happened.

That is such an awesome job! It's like an undercover cop! I really wanted to have a part time job like that. I'm probably too old for that though.

Ah, Connex. Gotta love the public transport system. It's bad enough waiting for V/Line to produce a train for 45 minutes in 3 degree weather, even worse when it means you're gunna be late for something.

Where's Next Byte? Do they fix any MP3's or just iPods? Because my Creative iPod needs a tune up for one or two things.

And as for the job, that'd be sweeeeet. Being old enough to now purchase cigarettes is a bummer, because that would've been a great job to get paid for. Believe me, 7/11's and smaller convenience stores are gunna be like gold for you to bust.
