Through no fault of my own, I failed at NaNo this year. Between moving house, and my laptop rolling over and dying last night, there's no way I'll finish my novel this month.

Oh well..........at least I can finish it up once the laptop's repaired.

Sorry to hear about your laptop. I know you'll finish when you get your computer issues resolved. If nothing else, Elven John won't let you stop. ;)

You don't need to wait until your laptop is in commission before you continue working on your novel. Old fart that I am, I began my obsession with writing way before the advent of personal computers or laptops. I wrote out my drafts in longhand with a Bic pen on college-ruled notebook paper. I scribbled mistakes out, wrote notes in the margins, and made sure that I took every opportunity to put my writing forth to the readers. You can do this.

I did managed to save a good chunk of it onto an external HD, so hopefully I can work from there. I now have the PC perched on the kitchen table, because there's nowhere else for it to go, lol.
