Ah, apologies for this, but Maou is actually a Japanese drama centering around Naruse Ryou/Manaka Tomoo (a lawyer who's commonly referred to as the 'Angelic Lawyer' for his acts to defend against those who cannot defend themselves) and Serizawa Naoto (a detective who killed Tomoo's brother in middle/secondary school). Tomoo wants revenge against Naoto for killing him, and what it centers around is a revenge plot with quite a bit of stop and make you think moments.

I'm sorry again for not being able to accept your choices, however when I set up a multifandom blog crew, would you like to claim them there?
