Actually, I was in St. Paul. I almost wish I had been here- maybe odd to see, but I feel so separated from disasters like this that I think that's what it would take for me to really GET it.

Eh, not necessarily. What with our near constant desensitization to disaster due to media over coverage, it's not all that surprising.

I wish I had said that in a way that sounded less pretentious.
