For some reason I thought pictures of my art-table-corner in what is dubiously referred to as the 'living room' would be a fun thing to post.

And oh heavens, no it isn't. I live in an absolute bachelorette PIT. That corner may look somewhat organized but just off to the left and almost to the ceiling is 'Mount Emilie', which is a pile of stuff she won't throw away yet can't stow (you should see her room.. she seriously can't get anything else into it) and the rest of the room is just sort of a mess of things that people drop on the floor as soon as they come in the door. That's part of my art block.. it's depressing, going down there. :/

Holy crap if my living areas were that clean I might actually get things done! o.O I live in a rat warren and that's even WITH a house slave to straighten things up on occasion!

You have a house slave? XD Like I was telling Tuftears, these photos are deceptive. The rest of the room is just piles of junk strewn around that nobody cares to retrieve or even push aside, and I'll say it again: that's part of my art block.. it's depressing, going down there. X{ But our bedrooms are tiny and there's really no storage space to be found anywhere in our townhouse, and to fit my art stuff in my bedroom would necessitate sitting my computer on my nightstand. n.n

I'm actually glad we're all splitting up in a few months, even if it means going back to Mom's for a while.

I should take pictures of our rat warren sometime to give you some contrast. There's no way you could take a picture without there being piles of junk everywhere, unless you stood with the camera to the wall. D:
