Furi Enlightenment, Day 2
Day 2 of Furi Enlightenment "Week"~ Continuing my Nishiura Homo Side Chara trend, today's main course is rabbit Oki~ ♥
As usual, it's a mix of translated J-wiki and my own comments :3 Enjoy!

Bio: The only southpaw (left-hander) on Nishiura. Until his 2nd year of junior high he also played as pitcher sometimes, but ever since his 3rd year he has been playing exclusively as first baseman. Currently , however, he has resumed practicing as a reserve pitcher for Nishiura along with Hanai. Because of his shy and reserved personality, he thinks of himself as someone who's not cut out to be a pitcher, but because the team has so little members he decides to take the role of reserve pitcher. Momoe is in the process of having him learn more basics of pitching. In games, Oki often gets on base as the result of walks from the opposing pitcher.
His Nico nickname is "Miffy" and he often gets depicted with bunny ears and such in fanart.
SPOILERS: In the 5th round versus Bijou in the summer tournament, Oki was the one that threw the ball that Abe tried to catch and subsequently fell after stepping on Kurata's arm, causing his injury. Oki blamed himself for the injury (even though Abe told him it wasn't his fault), and he resolved to make up for it by getting more hits.
Relationships: He sympathizes with Mihashi who has the same timid personality as himself, but at the same time he respects Mihashi for being different in that he refuses to back down from pitching, even in a bad situation. Also similar to Mihashi, he is apprehensive of Abe's constant shouting. Oki gets along very well with all the other members of the group, and is often seen laughing and joking with them at various points. He also seems to be close to his classmate, Nishihiro.
Taka Weighs In: Oki is so FREAKISHLY ADORABLE, but he gets even less appearances than his fellow homo side characters... XD; *shakes fist at Higuchi* At least he got a large part in the latest arc along with Nishihiro. He's a cute, innocent and kind boy, and I absolutely love him to death. Not as much as lo_wah does, but you know. I love having him be the victim of evil!sensei. I feel sorry for him being yet another victim of Abe's shouting, lol.
Moments, Notable Appearances?
Oki is singled out by Momokan to be the second reserve pitcher. Oki is reluctant to admit he's had practice at first, but when he reminds himself of the team's predicament he accepts.
Mihashi gives Oki a funny look after Abe yells at him to get off the mound, and Oki gets a little stressed out.
But he is also inspired by Mihashi's determination. :D
Oki is startled by Abe's shout and realizes that Mihashi always runs away or freezes up because of that shouting, and he tries to communicate this to Abe (who actually gets the message, sort of).
