Furi Enlightenment, Day 4

Returning to Enlightenment postage with Day 4. Because of course I must make a post for Suyama. Out of the homo side characters, he seems to be uncannily loved by the doujinka (at least according to leviosa8). I can understand why though!! ♥

Bio: In baseball, Suyama is very good at playing defense and during offense he fills the cleanup spots along with Tajima and Hanai. He normally has a very cool and collected personality and is able to calmly analyze opponents during games. However, the sight of "Bad-Tasting Proteins" which gave him significant trauma in the past caused him to totally lose it, surprising the rest of the team. Though he acts mature, it also seems he's in a rebellious phase against his mother (she said he'd be angry if she cheered for him during Tosei) so there's still a side of him which is predictable for his age.
According to Higuchi, "It doesn't show up in the manga, but he is the best dresser within Nishiura and he pays a lot of attention to what his jersey, cap, bicycle, etc. look like."
Relationships: Suyama is good friends with both Mizutani and his classmate, Sakaeguchi. There have been times during games where both of them became nervous and Suyama helped them settle down, and he usually lends an amount of level-headedness to the team that most of the others lack. He's very considerate, doing things like helping Mizutani out during the protein game and then sharing his protein with Sakaeguchi when he won. Though he has the most interaction with Mizutani and Sakaeguchi, he's easy to get along with and is friends with everyone else on the team too.
Taka Weighs In: I pretty much worship Suyama and I think he's the most super amazing, ever. As Ichinose says, he's so manly and awesome, but in a totally different way than Tajima. Hahaha. I want to marry Suyama and am currently fierce rivals with aflyingteapot in that sense, ahaha. If Hanai is the mom, Suyama is like the really cool big brother that everyone wishes they had. Part of me thinks that Higuchi likes being mean to him during a lot of the at-bats... uhi.
